An example is Vicie (pronounced “viki”) Motz of Greenville, Tenn. Her 12-year-old son Trevor is a fragile young man. A cerebral palsy sufferer, Trevor has two dislocated hips so he can’t be carried, even by someone able to manually lift his 83-pound frame. Motz says there is no way she can transfer Trevor to the bathroom by carrying him, even if she has a nurse to help.
“When we installed an Ergolet lift, it made a world of difference,” Motz says.

Sometimes, you’ve got to knock on Congress’ doors to get things done.
Ergolet’s Director of Medical Products Marsha Medlin has been doing just that. She is a leader in a national push for federal legislation that protects the health of nurses, attendants and other healthcare workers who handle patients and residents.
The Coalition for Healthcare Worker and Patient Safety (CHAPS) was formed by a small group, including Medlin, to support HR2381 – The Nurse and Health Care Worker Protection Act of 2009.

The major Danish show was held at the Fredericia exhibition centre this year with Ergolet showing the complete range of products on a 700 sq. ft. stand. This major exhibition alternates between Copenhagen and Fredericia to accommodate the community needs of the Danish geographical regions. The exhibition was attended by approximately 8,000 people over three days with many of the key decision makers attending. “We were very pleased with the amount of interest and excitement Ergolet generated at this show,” shares Joe Evans, Ergolet’s Export and Marketing Manager.
